Group want to collect 1,000,000 AOL CD's and then dump then back at AOL's doorstep. Seems like a great idea to me - those f**king cd's are just such a waste and polution problem.
Have to admit that it was the interesting poster (available here btw) that attracted me to this story, but it is worth a read. Might want to pop over to the Mothers Against Genetic Engineering site too.
Halloween again. Like most people (probably) I hide away and pretend to ignore the door so that I don't have to chat to the obnoxious kids and dish out sweets. One year I forgot what day it was and innocently answer the door to find a bunch or poorly designed ghost and witches waiting for me shouting "Trick or Treat!". Having bugger all in the house I shrugged and said "Trick" - at which point they all looked at me like I'd just said something in Klingon, mumbled to themselves and left!!

Having read this article I think I would actually be much more worried about answering the door to find Saint Zita (Patron Saint of Lost keys) trying to hand me a leaflet about Jesus!!!!

Just found this as well - not exactly Casper the Friendly Ghost is he....
Quality viewing is this - can't understand why they would have second thoughts....
link via Brucey

Speaking of quality viewing. To be honest you have to be a little stupid to appear on a program like this in the first place. Would love to just watch the last few minutes to see their reactions tho!
It just keeps getting bigger!

"Also can u bring 3 - 4 boxes of F Rocher?"

At this rate I'll need a small truck for all the stuff Hari wants....

I've not actually started on my own list yet - leaving things to the last minute as normal! My list will have to include....

- Buying some trainers (something about delicate floor coverings and my big Cat boots apparently).

- Get some Yen! Was going to do this online but the problems with the post and the nearness of my departure day has made me rethink that plan!

- Purchase a big travel bag

Those are probably the 3 biggest things I have to do, but lots of little ones I'd better not forget as well.
Sorry for zero posts yesterday but I was on an exciting training course all day and then had the family over in the evening.

The course I was on was training for appraisals - those exciting sessions where you sit with your boss and he asks if you have any problems and you say "nope", stare at the table for a couple of minutes and then leave. Or at least thats how they always went for me. Apparently they are supposed to last longer than 5 minutes tho - who knew!?

Anyway the course was not bad really - I did learn some helpfull stuff and we got a free lunch. I also managed to avoid taking any part in the roleplaying sessions! They covered various ways of dealing with problem employees - the quiet type, defensive type, aggressive type etc. What they didn't cover was how to appraise people from a section where a general sense of apathy has set in, or where the appraiser (me!) has very little power to do anything about any issues raised anyway. Oh well, at least I can use all my new found knowledge and give it my best shot....

Interesting fact for today. We were at the pub quiz last night and there was a question that had us stumped - which planet has moons named after characters from Shakespears plays. Now I used to be a bit of an astronomer, so I knew the names of a fair few of the moons of various planets but had no idea which it was. We guessed Jupiter in the end, just cos it has the most. Turns out it was Uranus - you live and learn....
Earworm - I love that word. Sounds like some sort of alien parasite...
I can always find room to blog an ickle hamster!!!
Oh, the chaos that will ensue when loads of people have one of these....
Day 3 of my family visit. Must admit that hours of wandering aimlessly through the city centre this morning in a futile effort to do some shopping did start to wear after a while - feels like I'm on a shopping trip with kids!! Get to have a bit of a break now tho before its back into town for a meal. Think I'll take them to an Italian place I know.....

Whilst out yesterday I saw this girl at the train station that got me thinking about - wait for it - eyebrows. She had pretty big and quite dark eyebrows which is not something you see much with women. Thing was on her it looked really good. Not sure why I felt this was worth mentioning but there you go anyway.

Speaking of women, I'm amazed at how much they spend on 'essential body products'. Having started to fill the shopping list Hari sent me, I've already spent 20 quid on three small bottles of toner/facial wash/moisturizer! I mean, what is this stuff? Can of deodorant and some aftershave now and again (bit of showergel too I guess) and that it for me. Sure you other blokes are the same too??

God its only half eight and it feels like I've been up for hours. Okay, technically I have but still. I am supposed to be on holiday today, but due to a little confussion I had to go into work to check that the person who is covering for me was actually there - which he was so kind of a wasted walk in at 6:30am. Good exercise for me I suppose....

The reason I'm not in work today is that its that time of year where my older brother and my mum make there annual visit to see me. Got here yesterday and will leave on Saturday so I have to entertain for the next few days. Probably be the usual shopping trip to Derby, evenings in the pub, cinema one night maybe? Anyway, all this means that bloggage will be light for the next few days (I am back at work on Thursday but will be on a course all day).

Okay, on with writting my shopping list for Japan. May as well do that shopping while I'm wandering around town with the family. Unfortunately most of the things on that list are not for me but requested by my friend Hari (who I'm staying with in Japan). This list includes

Hot water bottle
3 Tubes of toothpaste
Teatree Toner
Teatree facial wash
Neutragena Moisturiser
Echinacia Teabags
Normal teabags
Lenny Kravitz album

I feel a trip to the BodyShop coming on....

Don't mention apple pie to me - not even if its just a drink rather than the actual pudding.....
You know it's gotta be useful - the The Book of Clichés. I'm selecting a few choice ones as we speak....
I find it so hard to believe that people can be so blind and not see what is happening around them or try to change it!! The thing I found most amazing in this article was that the average number of cars per household in the US is 1.9 whilst the average number of drivers is 1.75....
As I was saying, had a trip down to London at the weekend to visit my friend the ever lovely Miss Watson. Been a while since my last visit and I needed a break.

We decided to get dressed up and go out for a meal on Saturday night to an Italian restaurant. Ordered a nice bottle of Chianti and a HUGE pizza each. We then made the mistake of ordering dessert - a lovely hot apple crumble with ice-cream. Only problem was neither of us could finish it and we both felt a little full (plus slightly sick) afterwards. We intended to go for a highbrow evening of cocktails at that point but only managed one before the need to try and walk off the excessive food and head home for warm beds overcame us.....

Next day we met up with our friend Sam (who was 30 mins late) and ate another large meal - this time Morrocan. After loafing in the pub for a bit I then headed back home - or more precisely to my mate Marks house as he had invited me round for a final meal before he leaves Leicester. The lovely Lee - his wife - cooked a great meal but I did feel like I'd added an extra 3 stone to my weight by the time I finally crawled into bed that night. Still a weekend of food, beer and fine friends can't be knocked!
Monday again, and so soon after the last one! What joy!!

Although I do have a lot to tell about my weekend - spent in London - I've not quite got the energy to launch into a long post yet. Instead I shall mention a couple of other things. First is that the webpage I've done for my friends baby Ralph has been updated with a few new pictures that they sent me. I really need to sort it out and organize it properly at some point cos they are telling all thier friends and family and its probably getting more traffic than this here blog! Anyway, check out the picture entitled 'Strawberry' (just the name of the jpeg and not an official title but you'll know the one) - he is such a cutie in that hat!

The same friends have also just bought themselves a domain for thier new business idea. I did mention it last week for anyone that was paying attention. Anyway, not much to see yet (cos I'm the one that has to design it and was too tired to do anything more than a very basic holding page last night) but you'll probably be hearing me mention Off The Beaten Tracks a lot in the months to come.

Another follow on from the last couple of days for all you folks that like listening to new and original music. Song Fight gives a title each week and then artists submit a song with that title and others vote for the best. Good when you have a fast connection to stream them all.
Yay, work just got even easier. Tech Support Excuse Generator.

"Ah yes, now the reason that its not working is that you have a replicated, inherent logic-subsystem incompatibility....."
Another slack day. Ah well. Really I should be looking for a hotel for my trip back from Japan. I cant decide if I want one near Haneda airport meaning 20 mins after landing I can be having a shower and relax etc. but then have a 2 hour trip to Narita next morning. Or a hotel near Narita, meaning 10 mins from the airport the next morning but 2 hours to get there the night before? Decisions decisions.....

Must also sort out money and decide if I want health insurance?

Get a little extra lunchbreak with the Lunch Clock.
Oooh - FluffMonkey.co.uk or maybe .net? I'm kinda fluffy and monkey like from time to time!?

UPDATE: Hmmm, seems fluffmonkey.com is a (fairly crap) porn page - would people ever end up there by mistake he wonders......?
Following on from yesterdays post I've carried on looking around Brad's site and following links to a few other artists. Most - while very good - didn't really appeal to me music wise. Shannon Campbell did attract my attention tho. While not really the sort of stuff I put on all the time, I do like a bit of folk music quietly playing in the background once in a while while I'm working or whatever - and I've also always had a bit of a thing for female vocals truth be told! Check it out....
Been a bit slack today. Seems to happen when I'm on the helpdesk, probably cos I'm always getting interupted. Ah well...

After all my effort yesterday to set up the fake test page for Off The Beaten Tracks I was dissapointed to find that Google seems to have stopped indexing this blog. At one point it was being checked every 3 days or so but now its been over a month! Bugger.

I'm still thinking about buying a domain name. Not having much in the way of inspiration so far. Best I have come up with is blueweasel.co.uk which isn't great cos I'm not blue or a weasel and don't really have anything in common with a weasel (nobody say a word!). The hunt continues but I definitely think it would be good to have my blog and other geocities webpage (the one where I store all the crap images and other stuff) in the same place. Would mean a redesign of everything and a new name but at this rate it won't be for a while anyway....

Okay, from time to time when wandering the interweb you come across something good. And I dont just mean a Flash game that keeps you occupied for more than 3 minutes! Could be an engaging blog, a useful and informative website or in this case the website for an artist and his music. Brad Sucks is getting a lot of notice lately because of his project Outside the Inbox - a collection of songs by people inspired by the spam they get by email. Be sure to check out 'Urgent Business Relationship', its good! His other stuff is good too, although Rock is not really my taste. I really do like 'Making me Nervous' tho, maybe cos its a rock/dance track.
A friend of mine (for you regular readers the one that had a baby not so long ago) has recently handed in his notice for his job at DMH, is leaving Leicester and is planning on following his dreams and opening a record stall. It'll just be a coupe of days a week to start to get the feel of things but part of his grand plan is to also have a website.

Now I can't tell you exactly what will be on this website - I'm meeting with him on Friday to talk about it (and help babysit) - but he wants to try and get a decent Google ranking if possible. Which brings me to the point of this post! In an attempt to find how high the page might get ranked with the name he currently has in mind, I have created a test page. Obviously it won't reflect exactly what rank it might get, but will at least give an idea if it will be in the top 10 or top 10,000! Problem is its a common phrase but there are not actually that many website with the name - so I have no idea where it might get. Anyway, to get the page indexed I need a link, so please dont go and visit Off The Beaten Tracks because there really isn't much there to see!
Its that time of year when everyone starts to get ill. We had (and still have to some degree) the 'Freshers Flu' going round here for a bit - even suffered myself for a few days with a blocked nose and stuffed up head. Got of lightly compared to some people - poor old Bjoern seems to really be suffering. Hope he feels better soon.

Guess I never really get particularly ill - maybe its my healthy lifestyle or I just have an amazing immune system. Okay, its more likely that there are so many germs around my house that my body doesnt even notice the usual illnesses! That is not always such a good thing tho because it means that in 6 years I have not yet had one day off work through sickness. A normal person probably has about 1 week a year off through illness, meaning I've missed out on 6 weeks of not working!! Damn!

I was watching this program on Sky One the other night called the Big Sex Fantasy. Ok, I kinda flicked over for 10 minutes - honest (I'm very fickle in my viewing). Anyway, this weeks was the top 10 sexiest females that men fantasize about. Okay I didnt really agree with Jordan at number 8 - she's just not my type - but what really shocked me was that at number 6 was Carol Vorderman!! That can't be right surely!?

In case you are wondering, I got bored and changed channels so can't tell you who was at number one....
For all you serious Monopoly players out there this should be an essential place to visit - probabilities in Monopoly.
This is the kinda workout I wouldn't mind watching - aerobic striptease!
Quite an addictive game. Careful not to use up all your missiles or you die.....

This looks like a cracking page for when you want to have a bit of a reminisce - not that I've had much chance to have more than a quick glance at it, but if the page about the Littlest Hobo is anything to go by it should all be good!

"There's a voice that keeps on calling me
Down the road, thats where I'll always be..."

Sing along now - you all know the words.......
Its an ugly purple frog - what other reason do I need to post about it!?
Lasers - is there anything that they can't do?!
Cor, that has to be one of the busiest days I've had in a while! Stuck on the ever wonderful helpdesk dealing with our ever competent users pretty much non-stop it seems! First bit of time I've had to blog and altho I do still have stuff to do..... BOLLOCKS to it!

*Ahem* anyway I have a confession to make (no need to get that excited). I went swimming this morning for the first time in a couple of weeks after willfully and without good reason, skiping it last week. Thats the first time I've done that in about 6 months! Problem was swimming itself wasn't cutting it, I needed the jogging too. So thinking that I should try and be fairly fit when I go to Japan I went jogging yesterday and started the swimming again today. The fact that a a few days after I get back I am going here for a sporty holiday weekend thing also helped with my motivation.

As a result I feel pretty darned tired now, my legs ache and I'm really hungry. Still dont think I can eat the 3rd apple turnover left from lunch tho.....

Introducing the Popcorn Fork!. I'm really not sure I believe the claim that it is the "most unique eating utensil since the dark ages" or that it will become the "fourth commonly used eating utensil..." but what do I know!?

Reminds me, really must learn to use chopsticks before I go away!
Big Tits could run in UK. Not sure what this will do for the number of hits I get each day! link via Brucey
The art of trouser semaphore - I'm tempted to try it in our noisy room.
Congratulations to my friend Cat who has been offered a job in Nashville. Looks like a nice place but the websites a bit clunky....
Once again sorry for lack of bloggage. Was kinda dossing (plus spying on the young ladies who were here for a job interview) this morning, and then this afternoon stuff has just gone wrong. The air conditioning unit has gone wrong - again - and so the temperature has shot up to about 33 degree's. Feel like I should be sat on a beach or in a sauna! Add to that the evacuation of the building cos of the fire alarm (caused by the air conditioning drive belt breaking - hence the smell of burning rubber just before all this started) and I've not had much chance to post anything. Technically I should be watching for students trying to sneak up our back passage (ooo-eerrr) through the fire exit door which we have opened to try and let some cold air in - but bollocks to that! The broom I have placed in the way should dissuade all but the most determind of them!

Always on a Friday. Roll on home time and a trip to the pub!!!!

Sorry, no blogging today. Been a little busy trying to find hotels in tokyo and deciding which flight to get on my way back. Also got another headache.

Still, it is now time to go home and enjoy a relaxing evening watching many episodes of Father Ted whilst drinking wine left over from the party on Saturday and being fed by some friends (who are cooking the food and bringing it round!!). What more could I want!

Ever got tired of your banana's ending up bruised when you take them to work for lunch? Well never fear, you need Banabox!! Or you could just use a normal lunchbox and have somewhere to put your sandwiches too....
Want to own a peice of the moon - well this site lets you buy an acre should you so desire. Also other places like Venus if you prefer?
Pictures of toy cars crashed into bonsai tree's.
A link especially for my workmate Bruce! I'm not sure I could manage to eat one of these but I think Bruce could give it a damn good go....

Forget go faster stripes and custom paint jobs for your car, what you need are fake bullet holes (available in several calibers).
I saw this advertised on telly the other day and could not believe it! I mean what sort of parent would buy this peice of s**t for their kids???
Feeling in need of confessing something? Then try group hug.us.
I must admit I once sprayed deodorant down the nozzle of a vacuum cleaner to make it 'smell better' and that resulted in the vacuum leaping about 2 feet off the floor when I turned it on. This man was a little more over the top tho by putting petrol in a washing machine to remove a stubborn stain. It caused the stain to vanish - along with most of his kitchen....
Fijian islanders to say sorry for eating missionary. What do you say to someone who ate your relative (altho it was over 130 years ago)?
And it comes to that time of day again where I say I want one!!!!!!!
This is pretty cool - and I'm actually sure I saw it about a week ago but dont think I linked it (sorry if I did).
Blimey, only an hour of work left today already - where has the day gone? Went home earlier to call Hari about some Japan arrangements. Spent most of the call (a good 30 mins - eeek) being given a large shopping list of products she would like me to get for her and take out with me - mostly girly stuff so a trip to the Body Shop is in order sometime soon I feel....

Was also trying to arrange a hotel for my first night as she is coming to meet me in Tokyo and we need somewhere to stay. I'd looked at a few places but she seems to think a love hotel will be cheaper. These are the sorts of places that you can rent a room to 'rest' in for a couple of hours (longer if you want) - the rooms themselves having funky themes and tv's where the only subscribed chanels are porn. Well, I wanted to have some interesting experiences on this trip and I'm sure a room with a merry-go-round or bumper car in would certainly qualify for that! Bring on the vibrating bed!!!

His and Her robots. Supposed to be 6 feet tall but they look about 6 inches in the photo. Better not be for $400,000!!
New shirt issues aside I am having a fairly good day. My new approach to work is paying off rather nicely. Instead of finding something to do and thinking "Its not important, I'll do it in a bit" I'm doing it straight away - thus freeing up considerable time 'later on' and achieving quite a lot.

Breakup Babe on the other hand seems to be having a bit of a bad time at the moment. Guess I've been there too - those cold lonely days where everything seems bleak and pointless. I've always hated seeing nice people - and from the little time I've spent reading her blog, BB seems like a really nice person - feeling that way so for what its worth I wish her all the best!
Hmph!! I do NOT look like a dental assistant in my new shirt. Silly people... *mumble*.... no taste... *mutter*.... look good really.....
Okay, trying to be organised today - got a lot to do (mostly stuff I've been putting off doing) and I should really try and get it done!

Had a good weekend tho. Friday night was pretty quiet, just a few off us playing a LAN session of Neverwinter Nights again. We did kinda get stuck and end up wondering around for about an hour, but I think I know what we are supposed to do now!

Saturday was good as it was our School Disco party!! Little dissapointing that a few more people cancelled last minute but there were 11 of us in total so enough for a fair bash. Had been into town earlier in the day to buy a white shirt especially for the occasion - something prompted as much by the fact that I fancied some new clothes and realised I didnt have a nice white short sleeved shirt as by having to have it for the party. I like it so much I'm wearing it today in fact - makes me feel all smart and worklike.

Anyway, we watched the England match on telly first and then when the non-football supporters turned up we kicked off the party. Actually managed to get 35 classic tunes to put on CD - not bad on a modem! Nothing like a bit of 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight' by Tight Fit to get a party jumping! Mix in some selected songs from the (extensive) vinyl collection of Mr K and we were sorted!

In terms of attendee participation, this has to be our best party yet. Once people were sufficiently drunk enough, most took part in Twister - including those young ladies that had decided on short skirts for the evening! Getting to this drunk stage had mostly been caused by the previous activity - a drinking game revolving around Bop-It. Those that failed with Bop-It had to down a shot of tequila, altho we did add an element of chance too by including a dice roll (or people would have been plastered much too quickly given the poor skill level with the game). I feel this game will become a regular party event from now on......

Sunday - after my head stop throbbing - I went to watch Brazil vs Jamaica in a friendly. Those supporters - especially the Jamaicans - know how to make a lot of noise. It was an experience for sure - just dissapointed I forgot to take my camera!

Ooooh dear, some people get a little too involved...
Some pictures of the recent wedding reception I went to are up over at my other site. It was a quick and dirty page I did yesterday when I had 10 minutes free. May update it at some point.

I think you also need to save your scanned files as jpeg's Lucy, those bitmaps were huge for the image quality.
When I was a kid I used to pretend I was a fighter pilot in the playground, now they play at being drug dealers. link via Brucey
See how rubbish your house is compared to the homes of these super rich people.
Ever wanted to know what a billion pennies looks like?
Finally its the weekend (ok, so I have an hour of work left but close enough) and I'm too tired to go into any heavy description of whats going on in my life. Tomorrow is the party which shall hopefully go okay. Enough drink and it wont matter I guess! Sunday I'm going to watch Brazil vs Jamaica at the Walkers Stadium which should be fun to watch.

Tired now - on with the silly links!

A game with cats - gets quite addictive after a while....
Hey, go buy unique present for special someone. What you mean what is it - it genuine origami boulder dumb dumb!
This is what my computer screen looks like to me at the end of a long day
Was reading about the Ig Nobel award winners for this year just the other day. I liked the fact that you can apparently rent the nation of Liechtenstein for corporate do's, weddings and the like. Sounded quite a bargain at £300 odd per person per day.

Its also surprising as some of the research actually sounds like the stupid stuff scientists really do research. For instane this. I actually like the quote in that article that says

"The study, details of which are published in New Scientist magazine, also found that a lack of sexual intercourse made some women depressed." Really? Who would have thought lack of sex would make anyone depressed......

Then there is this article.
I quite like the Earth Calendar I blogged the other day as it does show you what interesting days you are missing round the world. Today for instance is Leif Erikson day. Tis you know cos George W Bush proclaimed it was last year....
Would you believe that after mucho mucking about yesterday and failing to get the printer I was trying to fix - fixed - I went over today and did it straight off. I did exactly the same as I did yesterday tho!!! Grrrr.

Anyway, that give some time to blog for a bit. I was looking through the official California election results and like other people notice that Larry Flynt got more votes than Gary Coleman - there's no justice in the world. Whats more worrying tho is that Mary Cook (aka Mary Carey) was not far behind either of them....
Lunchtime at last. Means I can fill my belly and have the chance to blog for a bit. Not that its been overly busy on the helpdesk but everytime you start something, someone comes in and interrupts!

Plans for the school disco party this weekend are rolling along. I'm currently 'acquiring' some classic 80's tunes to put on CD (although my damn CD writer won't use re-writables so will have to use a CD-R). 'Love Shack' was my first choice - can't beat a bit of the B52's!

Realised quite late that the England vs Turkey match was on the same day and actually early evening. Means the start time has been put back and people will be round to watch the footy first. Also not even sure how many are set to turn up - I've invited everyone I can tho (I need more friends obviously).

Finally, remember when I said this last Tuesday. Well I was talking bollocks. Its actually 4 weeks today. Eeeek!
Wednesday, October 08, 2003
Urghhh sorry, not much going to happen in the way of bloggage today. Seems to have flown by covering the helpdesk (2 of my workmates are off at the moment) and STILL trying to fix broken printers. Can barely see out my contact lenses at the moment and to top it all off my dinner invitation for tonight has just been cancelled - and I was relying on that as I have no food left to cook at home either!

I feel a night of beer, crap telly and general laziness is in order!

Find out what you could be celebrating somewhere in the world with Earth Calendar.
On a similar note to the last post is something I saw on the BBC this morning whilst having breakfast. Junk mail - not the electronic kind this time but actual post. I suppose compared to electronic spam we tend to get a lot less junk mail through our letterboxes and don't notice it as much. Still, we apparently receive 4,000,000,000 peices of direct mail in the UK each year and I do tend to get a bit annoyed sometimes by the amount of stuff I have to throw out each week. Luckily we have a doorstep recycling scheme round here but it still makes me think.

Anyway, there is a solution. Planet Ark is promoting this scheme to remove people that do not want to receive direct mail (junk mail to me and you) from most direct mailing lists. They claim a 95% reduction (over 3-6 months).

I've already done it and it does only take a couple of minutes, if that. So please sign up as well and try to let others know - an easy way to save the world with minimum effort! Its even backed by Dannii Minogue so doubly gets my vote!
I found this article pretty funny today. They can dish it out but cant take it....
Having such a crappy day. Just seems to be nothing but printer problems. I'm fed up with wandering all over campus fixing (or trying to fix) the damn things now!!!

Okay, moan over. Today is the day that California votes for a new governor. Even amid more accusations about sexual harrasment, Arnie is still the favourite. I was quite amused this morning watching a clip of candidate Cruz M Bustamante trying to show how tough he was and talking about the sexual harrasment accusations. He said something along the lines of "If it was my daughter involved, I'd be much more direct in sorting things out with Mr Schwarzenegger. It would be over much more quickly if you know what I mean". "Yes" I thought "you'd end up on your back and in much pain....".

Anyway, you all know how I feel - Vote For Georgy!!!

When I get a moment I shall be having a look through this site. link via Paul
My workmates have far too much time on thier hands. An author with an amusing name. link via Brucey
Its a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit our hollow Earth. How can you say no - and a bargain at a mere $20,000!?
Check out these light cubes. Designed to replace ice cubes to make drinks at a party more interesting. Apparently there's "No end to the ways you can use then", tho I'm not sure I can think of that many ways to use a few small plastic cubes with a light in it. The disclaimer is quite good too...

Hand wash with hot, soapy water before using. Not dishwasher safe. Freeze if desired. When used intermittently, Litecubes provides more than a dozen hours of fun. Litecubes are made of FDA-approved plastic and contain a non-toxic refreezable gel. For maximum drink-cooling power, use Litecubes with real ice. Colors may vary. Disposable novelty item. Keep out of direct sunlight and avoid excessive heat.
Interesting idea for a fancy dress party - go as a mermaid. Seen the price of that costume tho!!!!!
Campaign to introduce a 28 hour week. Thats only 6 days instead of 7 per week in case you are wondering...
I seem to have been so occupied with meeting and trying to fix a stupid printer problem that I've not done much blogging today. So quick flurry of links before I go!!

I think you can guess what this is from the URL.
An interesting article on blogging. Seems I'm one of the 50,000 that blog (almost) daily!
