I usually avoid politics and business but even I had to wonder what Harriet Harman was blathering on about yesterday in relation to Sir Fred’s pension.
“The prime minister has said it’s not acceptable and, therefore, it will not be accepted. And it might be enforceable in a court of law, this contract, but it’s not enforceable in the court of public opinion and that’s where the government steps in.”
Oh, the PM doesn’t like it therefore we’ll do something about it even if it’s not legal. Wonder if there are any new anti-terror laws that could help them….
