The pandemic flu helpline gets ready to go live and dish out drugs without a doctors prescription. A drug that some say has caused a few dozen teenage suicides in Japan and lists in it’s side effects

“People with the flu, particularly children and adolescents, may be at an increased risk of self injury and confusion shortly after taking TAMIFLU and should be closely monitored for signs of unusual behavior.”

Then if we do get a vaccine, the saftey checks are likely to be minimal before they rush to give it to half the country.

I know the risks are small (or non-existent) but it all seems a bit much considering the flu isn’t exactly running rampant. Although Miss C would possibly not agree after having been laid up in bed with it for a week.

Reckon I had it too but my main sympton was feeling “a bit odd” and not being able to eat a whole medium Dominoes pizza one night…
